David P. Norton
Dr. David P. Norton is co-author, with
Dr. Robert S Kaplan,
of The Execution Premium: Linking Strategy to Operations for Competitive
Advantage, his fifth
Balanced Scorecard book. His previous books with Kaplan include
Alignment, Strategy Maps, named as one of the top ten business books of
2004 by Strategy & Business and amazon.com, The Strategy-Focused
Organization, named by Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as the best
international business book for year 2000, and The Balanced Scorecard:
Translating Strategy into Action, which has been translated into 22
languages and won the 2001 Wildman Medal from the American Accounting
Association for its impact on practice.
David Norton is the co-founder and president of Palladium Group. Prior
to his career at Palladium, Dr. Norton co-founded and served as
president and CEO of
Balanced Scorecard Collaborative. David Norton was also president of
Renaissance Solutions, Inc., a Balanced Scorecard consulting firm. Prior
to that he was the co-founder and president of Nolan, Norton & Company,
where he spent 17 years as president.
David Norton is a Trustee of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a
former Director of ACME (the Association of Consulting and Management
Engineers).
David P. Norton is founder and
president of Renaissance Strategy Group, a consulting firm located in
Lincoln, Massachusetts.
